EP 22 | Shazam!

The brody Leroy West is in Detroit now so he stopped by the podcast to review Shazam! (exclamation in the movie title, I'm not that excited to see him). Believe it or not, we managed to stay pretty on-topic and get right to the movie review this week. Had to quickly talk about the history of our infamous movie crew in college and planning "Boys Trip 2k19". We talk about how DC has struggled to land a huge hit since the Dark Knight series, and how this film has given us hope for the future. I also introduce a new segment called "Random Rapid Fire" where Leroy answers 10 random movie-related questions with only a few seconds to respond. The homie Charlie is in Detroit this week to discuss none other than The LEGO Movie 2. There's no way we can start the discussion about the movie without first talking about our college group's past history at the theater. We talk about our epic snowball fight in front of NCG Cinema, and I also pitch a new group social media campaign. EP 14 | The Oscars

It's Oscars week, and Lauren traveled all the way from the Windy City to discuss this year's nominees. We obviously can't start the conversation about the Academy Awards until we first recount how our friendship started: bonding over our love of network TV (specifically Revenge, 90210 and Gossip Girl). We then discuss Ariana Grande's most recent album and list our fav tracks so far.
