EP 12 | Mary Poppins Returns

This week I flew down to ATL to get Katy's take on Mary Poppins Returns. First, we take a stroll down memory lane and discuss our successes and failures during our college IM basketball days. We then go through Disney's newest film and discuss the differences and similarities between this Mary Poppins and the original. EP 11 | FYRE

Detroit's hottest influencer, Frank Sorise, comes to the studio this week to dissect the events surrounding FYRE Festival as told by Netflix and Hulu. Both video streaming platforms released their respective documentaries earlier this month, so check out our takes to determine which video service told the story best. We also talk about the polar vortex, proper gifts for a puppy's bday, and Lindsay Lohan's hit single "Rumors" (2004). We also take breaks throughout to bash Ja Rule. Great episode as always. Detroit's most note-worthy graphic designer, Joel, graces the podcast with his presence to discuss the Spider-Verse. Couldn't start off the podcast without first recapping the last few weeks of Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club, followed by my most recent experience at MJR's $5 Tuesday. Joel and I then rank our top super hero movies/top superheroes/top super villains before getting into our review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.ITWT Movie Rating: 8.9/10. EP 9 | Green Book

It's Episode 9 and Dan is in the studio to discuss the highly nominated film, Green Book. We start this episode off by going down memory lane and recounting all the IM sports teams Dan and I played on together. We then talk about the cinema magic that went into reenacting the musical genius that was Dr. Don Shirley. However, we don't fail to mention my musical background and past days in the band. EP 8 | Aquaman

On this episode, Darien stops by the podcast to kick-off the new year by discussing Aquaman. But first things first - we HAVE to talk about Bird Box and Netflix's marketing takeover during December. We also can't leave out a quick highlight of the first episode of Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club and the creative concept of her new reality TV show. We then proceed to have an extremely nerdy conversation where we provide our top superhero movies, comic book heroes and villains. Don't worry, we eventually get to Aquaman and DC vs. Marvel.
